Hello! I'm Aimée, the now 23-year old creator behind MYSA!
Based in the beautiful island of Guernsey, I work in Marketing as my full-time job and work on MYSA at any spare moment I have!
I founded MYSA as a way to provide to those like-minded home decor lovers but at an affordable rate as I personally have struggled justifying prices of similar items previously, despite my desire to purchase - I love all things vintage/shabby chic!
It all started during Guernsey's first lockdown in April 2020, with just a select few items, and I have been blown away by the response since! MYSA derived from a personal passion for interiors and decorative bits and bobs, so what better way to share the passion through my little business. Every item I stock is a product I personally love (trust me it's hard not to keep everything!), and I would never stock anything that isn't loved for or doesn't fit into the style of MYSA.
Many people have asked what MYSA stands for - it is a Swedish word meaning the following:
- to engage in an activity that is comfortable, especially at home
- the feeling of comfort and protection
- a time dedicated to coziness
- being content and cozy
It is so important to me that the brand represents exactly what it offers - products that add warmth and coziness to your home by filling empty shelves and abandoned corners - making your home more homely.
I love working on MYSA, meeting more people and packing up all your orders ~ I am definitely kept busy! Thank you as always for your support!
